Ingredients
- 2 apples peeled and sliced into thin rings
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp dry yeast
- ½ tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 ¼ cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- ¼ tsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp cardamom powder
- Oil to fry
How to make :
Apple Jalebi Recipe: A Fruity Twist
- Take a large mixing bowl and add the dry yeast and sugar.
- Add 4 tbsp of warm water.
- Mix until the sugar dissolves, and add ½ cup room-temperature water.
- Add 1 tbsp oil and 1 tsp cardamom powder.
- Add the flour and stir until it forms a thick mixture. Add water as required to achieve the right consistency.
- Once your mix is ready, add your apple slices to the mixture, coating each evenly on all sides.
- Heat up some oil for frying, and fry the coated apple rings one by one.
- Once golden, remove and drain the excess oil.
- To prepare the sugar mixture, take 500 ml sugar syrup and add 1 tsp cardamom powder
- Add the apple slices to the sugar mixture and serve!
Special Tip
Serve with some vanilla ice cream for the perfect dessert combo.
