Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp oil
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 2 chopped green chillies
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp coriander powder
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • ½ cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1 cup soaked and squeezed soya keema
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  • 5–6 Britannia Whole Wheat Bread Slices

How to make :

Britannia Bread Rolls

  1. Heat oil in a nonstick pan, then add cumin seeds and chopped onions. Sauté until the onions turn light brown and translucent.
  2. Add green chillies and ginger-garlic paste, cooking for a few more minutes.
  3. Sprinkle in turmeric powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder, coriander powder, and garam masala, and sauté for another minute.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften and become mushy.
  5. Stir in soaked soya keema and salt to taste, cooking for 3–4 minutes. Top with fresh coriander leaves and mix well.
  6. Trim the edges off Britannia Whole Wheat Bread slices. Dip each slice in water, then squeeze out any excess.
  7. Place a spoonful of the prepared filling in the center of each bread slice, shaping them into cylindrical rolls.
  8. Arrange the bread rolls in an air fryer lined with baking paper and air fry at 180°C for 20–25 minutes, until golden and crispy.
  9. Serve hot with green chutney or tomato ketchup and enjoy these guilt-free bread rolls.

Special Tip

For an extra crispy texture, brush the stuffed bread rolls with a little oil or butter before air frying. This will help them turn golden and crunchy on the outside while staying soft on the inside.
