Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp mint chutney
  • Slices Britannia cheese
  • Toothpicks

How to make :

Cheesy Egg & Mint Chutney Pinwheels

  1. Whisk the Eggs: In a bowl, break 4 eggs and add 2 tablespoons of milk. Season with salt and pepper and whisk until smooth.
  2. Cook the Omelette: Heat butter on a tawa or skillet over medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture, spreading it evenly. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes, then flip to cook the other side for another minute.
  3. Add Mint Chutney: Once cooked, transfer the omelette to a cutting board and spread 2 tablespoons of mint chutney evenly across its surface.
  4. Add Cheese: Place Britannia cheese slices over the chutney, covering the entire omelette.
  5. Roll and Slice: Starting from one side, roll the omelette tightly. Secure with toothpicks at even intervals, then slice into bite-sized pinwheels.

Special Tip

  • Add a pinch of chili flakes or finely chopped herbs to the egg mixture for an extra flavor boost.
  • Serve with extra mint chutney or ketchup for dipping.
