Ingredients

  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 100 gm dark chocolate
  • 2 tbsp almond powder
  • ⅓ cup fresh cream
  • 1½ cup whipped cream
  • ½ tsp gelatin
  • 2 tbsp walnut powder
  • 2 egg yolks
  • ¾ cup caster sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1½ cup biscuit crumbs

How to make :

Chocolate Delice Recipe: Rich Chocolate & Nut Treat

  1. Heat some water on your stove while you prepare your mix.
  2. Take a bowl and add 2 egg yolks, caster sugar, and vanilla essence. 
  3. Take this bowl on a double boiler and mix nicely until it comes to a liquid form. 
  4. Add chopped dark chocolate to the same until it melts.
  5. Add some fresh cream and gelatin and mix well. Once combined, take off from the heat.
  6. Take another bowl, add biscuit crumbs and some almond and walnut powder.
  7. Add melted butter and mix well for the crust. 
  8. Take a baking tin, and put the crust mixture into it. 
  9. Level it with the back of a spoon and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  10. Add some whipped cream to the chocolate liquid prepared earlier and now add the same to the baking tin. 
  11. Refrigerate for 7–8 hrs. 
  12. Transfer it to a cake stand, decorate it, and your Chocolate Delice is ready!

Special Tip

Top with some caramelised nuts for a crunch of flavour.
