Ingredients
- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup milk
- 4 tbsp chocolate powder
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup peanut butter
- 3 cups rolled oats
How to make :
Chocolate Oatmeal Bars Recipe: Breakfast on the Go
- In a large saucepan, add about ½ cup of butter and let it melt.
- Add your milk and chocolate powder into the pan and mix well.
- Put in about 1 cup of sugar and bring it to a boil.
- Once done, add in your peanut butter and mix well with a spatula.
- Add about 3 cups of rolled oats and mix until the chocolate coats the entirety of the oats.
- Line a baking tray and add your oat mix.
- Flatten it into the tray and ensure all surface is covered fully.
- Refrigerate for about an hour or so. Once done cut and serve your homemade oatmeal bar!
Special Tip
You can use cling film and parchment paper to line the tray to ensure that the oatmeal bars pop out easily.
