Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup cocoa dark chocolate
  • ½ cup cocoa powder 
  • 3 tbsp icing sugar
  • ¼ cup fresh cream
  • 1 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pistachio
  • 10–12 Good Day Chunkies

Ganache

  1. Melt half of the dark chocolate over a double boiler to create your ganache.
  2. Once melted, add fresh cream and a tablespoon of butter.
  3. Crush your Good Day Chunkies using your hands to create a crumbly texture.
  4. Add the crushed biscuits to the ganache and mix.
  5. Store in the fridge for 30 minutes while you prepare the glaze.

Glaze

  1. Boil your cream over a low flame.
  2. Once it boils, add the remaining dark chocolate to the mixture and mix till it melts.

Shape and Serve

  1. Once done with the glaze, remove your ganache mixture from the fridge and shape it into balls.
  2. Evenly coat the balls in the glaze.
  3. Dip the balls into your choice of toppings, either chopped nuts, cocoa powder, or desiccated coconut.
  4. Your Chunkies chocolate truffles are ready to serve!

Special Tip

When melting the chocolate, make sure the bottom of your bowl does not touch the water in the vessel.
