  • ½ cup cream
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • 3 egg yolks
  • ½ cup sugar

1. In a pan, heat ½ cup cream and add a vanilla pod, bringing it to a gentle boil.

2. In a bowl, whisk 3 egg yolks and ½ cup sugar until well combined.

3. Slowly pour the warm cream mixture into the egg yolk-sugar mix, whisking continuously.

4. Transfer the velvety mixture into a mould and bake at 180 degrees in a preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes.

5. Sprinkle sugar on top and caramelise it for the perfect finishing touch.
