Ingredients

  • 120 ml water
  • 30 gm sugar-free powder
  • 30 gm cocoa powder
  • 75 gm unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 400 gm Britannia NutriChoice Digestive Zero biscuits
  • 75 gm chopped walnuts
  • 100 gm chopped sugar-free chocolate
  • 100 gm warm heavy cream
  • Dried rose petals
  • Pistachio flakes
  • Gold flakes

How to make :

Chocolate Biscuit Cake

    1. Pour 120 ml water into a saucepan placed on low flame.
    2. Add some sugar-free powder and cocoa powder into the pan and whisk well until there are no lumps.
    3. Add chunks of white, unsalted butter to the mixture and cook for 6–7 min until it starts to thicken and bubble up.
    4. Pour in some vanilla essence and whisk some more to ensure it’s incorporated.
    5. Take it off the heat and keep it to one side.
    6. Crush 400 gm of NutriChoice Digestive biscuits into a bowl and add in some walnuts.
    7. Pour the chocolate sauce prepared earlier into the mixing bowl and mix it well.
    8. Transfer the mixture into a cake tin lined with parchment paper and press it down with a spoon to create an even layer.
    9. Place the cake tin in the refrigerator for 2 hours to set.

Chocolate Ganache

    1. Take a mixing bowl and add chopped sugar-free chocolate and warm heavy cream.
    2. Mix the chocolate and cream together until the chocolate melts entirely into the cream.
    3. Remove the no bake biscuit cake from the refrigerator and demould it using a knife.
    4. Pour the prepared chocolate ganache on top of the cake and spread it evenly.
    5. Garnish the cake with some dried rose petals and pistachio flakes.
    6. Carefully place gold flakes to decorate the no bake biscuit cake.
    7. Cut the cake into slices and place on serving plates.

Special Tip

Make sure that the butter you use is room temperature to allow it to melt easily to form the chocolate sauce.
