- 200 gm condensed milk
- 100 gm mawa or khoya
- 30 gm butter
- ¼ cup milk (to be used when mixing if the batter is thick)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ¼ cardamom powder
- A few strands of saffron
- Cashew nuts

- Begin by combining the wet ingredients (mawa, butter, and condensed milk) in a pan until they mix together, then allow them to cool to room temperature.
- Next, sift the maida and baking powder, and gradually incorporate them into the wet mixture to form a smooth batter.
- To enhance the flavour, stir in green cardamom powder and saffron in the mixture.
- Transfer the batter into a loaf cake mould, and sprinkle some chopped cashews on top.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 175–180° for approximately 30 minutes (timing may vary depending on the size of your mould).
- Voila! Your eggless mawa cake is now ready to serve.
