Fruit Tart Recipe: Refreshingly Delicious

  1. Take a mixing bowl and sift refined flour into it.
  2. Add half the quantity of chilled butter.
  3. Using your hands, combine the flour and butter together forming a flaky texture.
  4. Add ½ cup of powdered sugar and mix well with your hands.
  5. Pour in chilled milk to maintain the temperature.
  6. Mix everything together to form a ball, avoid kneading it.
  7. Take a cling wrap and spread the dough in it; wrap it up and place it in the fridge for about 20–25 min.
  8. Prepare a tart mould and press the dough directly in it.
  9. Trim the excess dough off the sides and using a fork, dot the dough to avoid puffing.
  10. Place butter paper on top of the dough and add some beans to make a tart shell.
  11. Pop it into a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 15–20 min.
  12. Keep the tart shell aside to cool.
  13. In a bowl, add cream cheese and sift in some powdered sugar.
  14. Add some lemon zest and mix well using a whisk.
  15. Demould the tart from the mould and scoop out the cream cheese mixture.
  16. Evenly spread the mixture and decorate with mixed berries along with some fresh mint leaves.
