Ingredients
- 500 ml colostrum milk
- 200 ml milk
- 100 gm sugar
- 100 gm jaggery
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- ½ tsp nutmeg powder
- 2 tbsp Cuddapah Almond (charoli)
How to make :
Kharvas: Indian Milk Pudding Recipe
- Pour 500 ml of colostrum milk into a mixing bowl along with 200 ml milk.
- Add 100 gm each of sugar and jaggery to the milk along with 1 tsp of cardamom powder.
- Add ½ tsp of nutmeg powder and mix well.
- Scatter 2 tbsp of charoli on the surface of the kharvas mixture and let it steam for about 25 min.
- Your homemade kharvas is ready to serve!
Special Tip
Saffron strands can also be added to give the dessert a rich taste.
