Ingredients
- ½ tsp cardamom powder
- 2 tbsp cashew nuts
- 3 tbsp Britannia Ghee
- 150 gm mava
- 300 ml milk
- 2 tbsp raisins
- ½ cup sugar
- 500 gm yellow pumpkin
How to make :

- Add a tbsp of ghee to the pressure cooker and place it on medium heat.
- Put the grated pumpkin into the pressure cooker and saute the pumpkin in ghee.
- Add 300 ml of milk and wait for the whistle.
- After the whistle, turn off the flame and wait 15 minutes until it cools down.
- Once room temperature, add the sugar and mava and turn the gas back on.
- Cook for 5 to 10 minutes until the water evaporates.
- Once done, add the cardamom powder and mix well.
- In a saucepan, add the rest of the ghee, the raisins, and chopped cashews.
- Roast until perfectly golden brown.
- Put the halwa on a plate and add the toasted cashews and raisins on top.
Special Tip
If you do not have time to grate your pumpkin, cut it into small cubes.
