Ingredients
- 2 cups crumbled mawa (khoya)
- 1 tbsp ghee
- ¼ cup milk
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- Pistachios and almonds for garnishing
How to make :
Melt-in-Your-Mouth Malai Barfi
- Heat a non-stick pan and add 2 cups of mawa and milk.
- Mix thoroughly and cook over medium heat for 4-5 minutes, stirring continuously.
- Next, incorporate sugar and ghee into the mixture, stirring continuously over medium heat for an additional 5 minutes until thoroughly blended.
- Grease a 100 mm × 100 mm (4” × 4”) aluminium tin.
- Sprinkle pistachios and almonds into the tin, then transfer the mawa mixture.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Once set, divide the mawa mixture into equal portions.
- Your delicious malai barfi is now ready to be served!
