- 2 pears (seeds scooped out)
- ½ cup almonds
- ½ cup pistachios
- 1 cinnamon sticks
- ¼ tsp cinnamon powder
- 2 cardamom pods
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp rose syrup
- 1-2 tbsp sugar
- Saffron strands
- ⅓ cup water
- ⅓ cup pomegranate juice
- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- ¼ vanilla pod
- Pinch of nutmeg
- 2 star anise
- 2 tbsp butter

Easy Mithai Baked Pears Recipe: A Fruity Twist
- In a food processor, blend your almonds, pistachios, sugar, cinnamon and cardamom powder.
- Also add vanilla extract, a splash of rose syrup, a few strands of saffron and a spoon or so of butter.
- Give it a few pulses in the food processor to get a coarse filling.
- For the syrup you will need a baking dish, add pomegranate juice, red wine vinegar and water.
- To sweeten add the sugar in it and stir until dissolved.
- Add your butter, cinnamon stuck, nutmeg, vanilla bean, star anise and mix the syrup well.
- Ensure that all the ingredients are more or less incorporated.
- Take the pears with their seeds and core scooped out and stuff them with the filling.
- Place them into the syrup and ensure that some of the syrup goes on top of the pear as well.
- Bake this in a preheated oven for 40 mins at 300°C
- Take them out and serve your Mithai Baked Pears!
