  • 8–10 pistachios

How to make :

Homemade Sandesh Sweet Recipe

  1. Begin by soaking almond and pistachio slivers along with saffron in warm milk, reserving them for topping. Drain any excess milk before use.
  2. In a pan, combine paneer and milk powder, cooking over medium heat while stirring continuously for 3–4 minutes.
  3. Allow the mixture to cool before proceeding.
  4. Mix in sugar, essence, and cardamom powder until a smooth dough forms.
  5. Lightly grease moulds with ghee to prevent sticking.
  6. Place a portion of the topping mixture into each mould.
  7. Press the prepared paneer mixture onto the topping in each mould, shaping as desired.
  8. Chill the moulds for a few hours, then carefully unmold the sandesh sweet and serve.

Special Tip

For a richer flavour, let the paneer mixture rest in the fridge overnight before shaping and chilling.
