- 1 cup strawberry syrup
- 1 ½ cup paneer
- 1 ½ cup sugar
- 1 cup milk powder
- ¼ cup milk
- Saffron
- 1 tsp butter
- 2 tsp pistachio
- 6 Britannia Jim Jam biscuits
How to make :
Strawberry Barfi Sandwich Recipe
- Take your paneer and grate or shred it into crumbs.
- Add to a pan and set on the stove on low heat.
- Add your sugar and mix with a spatula so that it doesn't burn.
- Add your strawberry syrup and milk powder.
- Add ½ cup milk and some saffron as per your preference.
- Stir everything together and continue cooking on a low flame for a few minutes.
- Once your mix resembles a barfi-like consistency, turn the stove off.
- Grind your Jim Jam biscuits to crumbs in a mixer and add to a mixing bowl.
- Add butter to the bowl and mix together.
- Add pistachios to the barfi mix on the pan.
- Take a baking tray and add the biscuit crumbs in a thin layer.
- Press it into place until it sets.
- Add your barfi mix and press it into place.
- Add another thin layer of biscuit crumbs and flatten it out.
- Store in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, remove and cut into squares.
- Your sandwich barfi is ready to serve!
Special Tip
You can also use mawa instead of paneer in this barfi recipe. If using mawa, add less sugar and remove the milk powder.
