  • 1 tsp nutmeg powder
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder

How to make :

Puranpoli Recipe: Festive Delicacy

  1. Place a pan on low heat and add 2 tbsp of ghee, allowing it to melt.
  2. Add 1 cup of jaggery along with 1 cup of boiled split chickpeas.
  3. Sprinkle 1 tsp each of nutmeg powder and cardamom powder.
  4. Mix well, grind this mixture and keep aside.
  5. Sprinkle some flour onto a flat surface and take a small portion of previously prepared refined flour dough.
  6. Flatten it out to add the jaggery mixture and enclose it, creating a medium-sized ball.
  7. Using a rolling pin, roll the dough out into a thin circle to form the shape of a chapati.
  8. Take a frying pan and place the chapati on it, cooking evenly on both sides.
  9. Add a little ghee and cook until small brown spots appear; your homemade puran poli is ready!

Special Tip
