- ¼ cup caster sugar
- 1 cup fresh cream
- 1 tbsp gelatin
- 2--3 basil leaves
- 1 vanilla pod
- ¼ cup water
How to make :
Vanilla Basil Pannacotta Recipe
- Add 3–4 tbsp of water in a small bowl and add the gelatin, allowing it to bloom.
- In a saucepan, add your fresh cream and caster sugar and stir.
- Cut your vanilla pod from the centre, scrap out the vanilla, and add to the saucepan.
- Add the basil leaves to the mix, stir well and let it cook.
- Add the bloomed gelatin into the saucepan and mix.
- Strain it out to remove the basil leaves.
- Pour it into your desired moulds and allow it to set in the fridge.
- Once set, pop them out and enjoy your pannacotta!
Special Tip
If you are vegan or vegetarian, you can substitute gelatin with agar agar.
