Ingredients

  • 1 pack of Britannia 50 50 Maska Chaska
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 3 tbsp corn flour
  • 1 cup of milk
  • ¼ tsp turmeric
  • 2 tbsp butter

How to make :

5050 Sweet & Salty Biscuit Lemon Tart

  1. Take your pack of Britannia 50 50 biscuits and grind it in a mixer.
  2. Add 4 tbsp of butter to the biscuit crumbs and mix together.
  3. Spread this mix on the bottom of your tart moulds and press into place.
  4. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, take ¾ cup sugar and ½ tsp vanilla essence in a pan.
  6. Add 2 tbsp lemon juice and 1 tsp lemon zest.
  7. Add 3 tbsp corn flour and 1 cup of milk.
  8. Cook until it thickens.
  9. Add ¼ tsp turmeric and 2 tbsp butter, whisk to combine.
  10. Remove from heat and pipe this mixture into your tart moulds once cool.
  11. Refrigerate for 30 minutes and then serve cold.

Special Tip

Top your lemon tart with powdered sugar and whipped cream for a touch of sweetness.
