Ingredients

  • 3/4th cup cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • Milk
  • Britannia Biscafe coffee crackers
  • Cocoa powder (to sprinkle)

Cream Layer

  1. Take a large mixing bowl to whisk the cream. 
  2. Add 3/4th cup cream cheese to your mixing bowl.
  3. Add 2 tbsp powdered sugar, if you don't have pre-powdered sugar you can make some using a mixer.
  4. Carefully measure out 1 tsp of vanilla essence and add it to the mixture.
  5. Whisk it together until it forms a consistent batter, the sugar should be completely mixed in with no powder visible.
  6. Once you have finished mixing it together, add your 2 cups of whipped cream.
  7. Fold the whipped cream into the mixture until it is light and fluffy.
  8. Once you have achieved the desired consistency, set aside while you prep your biscuit layer.

Biscuit Layer

  1. Pour some milk into a large bowl.
  2. Dip each Biscafe coffee cracker into the milk until it softens.
  3. Begin layering the biscuits in your pan.

Final Assembly

  1. Place the first layer of milk-soaked Biscafe crackers at the bottom of your cake pan. You can cut the biscuits as needed to make sure they fit perfectly into the shape of your pan.
  2. Pipe a thick layer of tiramisu cream over the biscuits. If you do not have a piping bag you can use a spoon to dole out the cream.
  3. Add a second layer of milk-soaked Biscafe crackers on top.
  4. Pipe a second layer of cream onto the biscuits.
  5. Top it off with a generous sprinkling of cocoa powder.

Special Tip

If you store your tiramisu in the refrigerator it allows the flavours to meld together and achieve the perfect creamy texture.
