Ingredients

  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp oil 
  • ½  cup of water
  • ½ tsp powdered black pepper
  • 1 tsp fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 pack of Brianiana Cheese Cubes
  • 1 tsp ghee

Knead the Dough 

  1. Take a large mixing bowl and add about 1 ½ cup of wheat flour. 
  2. Add a pinch of salt to the mixing bowl. 
  3. Add about 2 tbsp of oil and stir the mix with a spoon. 
  4. Slowly add water and keep stirring until you see a dough ball forming. 
  5. Knead with your hands and let it rest for 5–10 minutes. 
  6. Once done, break 30-gram chunks from the dough and roll them into small balls.
  7. Dust the dough balls with flour and use your rolling pin to roll the dough.
  8. Add a generous amount of Britannia cheese in the centre. 
  9. Season with fresh coriander leaves and ½ tsp of powdered black pepper. 
  10. Bring the edges together and roll it. 
  11. Sprinkle a little bit of wheat flour and roll until you reach your desired thickness.

Let’s Get Cooking

  1. Take a pan and place it on medium heat. 
  2. Place your paratha on the hot pan and let it cook 
  3. Once you see golden dots forming on your paratha, brush a little bit of ghee on top.
  4. Flip it over until each side is a light golden brown.
  5. Serve with curd and chutney, and enjoy!

Special Tip

Add oil or ghee while cooking after the paratha is cooked. This way it absorbs much less.
