Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup butter (melted)
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar 
  • 1 cup chocolate cookie crumbs
  • ½ cup choco chips
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ⅓ cup of dark chocolate (melted)
  • ¼ cup pistachios

Truffle Instructions

  1. Add melted butter to a large mixing bowl.
  2. Put ⅓ cup brown sugar into the warm butter to help dissolve it. 
  3. Take your favourite chocochip cookies and grind them in a food processor till they reach a crumb-like texture. 
  4. Add the 1 cup of your cookie crumb into the mixing bowl. 
  5. Put ½ cup of chocolate chips into the mix. 
  6. Pour in ¼ cup of milk into the bowl. 
  7. Clean your hands properly and start kneading this mixture. 
  8. Keep kneading until it resembles a chocolatey dough.

Toppings

  1. In a bowl, melt ⅓ cup of chocolate.
  2. In your food processor, grind up ¼ cup pistachios into a delicate crumb. 
  3. Set them aside until the assembling process.

Final Assembly

  1. Take the mixture that you have kneaded and create small balls.
  2. With a fork, stab your freshly made chocolate truffle and dip it in the melted chocolate.
  3. Ensure that all the sides of the truffle are coated in the melted chocolate. 
  4. Place the truffles back onto a dish and sprinkle ground-up pistachios on top of it. 

Special Tip

You can replace pistachios with cashews, almonds or any number of other nuts that you prefer.
