Ingredients

  • 1 litre milk
  • 50 gms raisins
  • 60 gms ghee
  • 150 gms brown sugar
  • 20–25 almonds
  • 20–25 cashews
  • ½ tsp nutmeg powder
  • ½ tsp cardamom powder
  • 5–6 Britannia Good Day Chunkies

How to make :

Chocolatey Khambati Halwasan Recipe

  1. Heat your milk in a pan and simmer until it reduces to half its quantity.
  2. This will take around 20 minutes to thicken up.
  3. Meanwhile, fry your raisins in ghee and prepare your remaining dry fruit.
  4. Add this dry fruit mix to your pan and stir.
  5. Let it simmer for about a minute and then add brown sugar.
  6. Take your Good Day Chunkies and crush them into a powder.
  7. Add the Chunkies powder into the pan and add a spoonful of ghee.
  8. Mix everything together and then add your nutmeg and cardamom powder.
  9. Take it off the heat and wait for it to cool.
  10. Once cool, shape the dough into little balls and garnish with almond slivers.

Special Tip

You can also press the halwasan dough into a baking tray and cut it into bite-sized bars instead of balls.
