Add a chocolatey twist to your favourite Indian sweet with our easy halwasan recipe. Use a pack of your favourite Britannia Good Day Chunkies to add a sweet touch to this traditional Indian mithai.

Ingredients
- 1 litre milk
- 50 gms raisins
- 60 gms ghee
- 150 gms brown sugar
- 20–25 almonds
- 20–25 cashews
- ½ tsp nutmeg powder
- ½ tsp cardamom powder
- 5–6 Britannia Good Day Chunkies
How to make :
Chocolatey Khambati Halwasan Recipe
- Heat your milk in a pan and simmer until it reduces to half its quantity.
- This will take around 20 minutes to thicken up.
- Meanwhile, fry your raisins in ghee and prepare your remaining dry fruit.
- Add this dry fruit mix to your pan and stir.
- Let it simmer for about a minute and then add brown sugar.
- Take your Good Day Chunkies and crush them into a powder.
- Add the Chunkies powder into the pan and add a spoonful of ghee.
- Mix everything together and then add your nutmeg and cardamom powder.
- Take it off the heat and wait for it to cool.
- Once cool, shape the dough into little balls and garnish with almond slivers.
Special Tip
You can also press the halwasan dough into a baking tray and cut it into bite-sized bars instead of balls.
