Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ½ cup castor sugar
  • 2 tbsp coffee syrup
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla essence
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 pack Good Day Chunkies

How to make :

Chunky Chocolatey Microwave Mug Cake

  1. Combine all the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Grind the Britannia Good Day Chunkies into a coarse powder and add to the dry ingredients.
  3. Mix everything together and make sure there are no lumps.
  4. Add your egg and whisk everything together.
  5. Add your milk and melted butter, and mix again.
  6. Add your vanilla essence and coffee syrup and blend with a hand mixer.
  7. Pour this batter into a microwave-safe cup, until the halfway point
  8. Pop it in the microwave for 2–3 minutes.
  9. Top with whipped cream and your mug cake is ready!

Special Tip

You can replace the eggs with 200 ml of club soda. If you are using club soda, do not add baking powder or baking soda.
