Layering Your Cake

  1. Take out a mixing bowl and add your milk and vanilla essence. Whisk till it combines.
  2. Bring out your cake pan to start layering the ice cream cake.
  3. Dip your biscuits in the vanilla milk mixture and place at the bottom of the cake pan.
  4. Bring out your ice cream, while we have used vanilla and strawberry, you can use any flavours you like.
  5. Add a generous layer of vanilla ice cream. Complete the next few layers quickly so that the ice cream doesn't melt too much.
  6. Sprinkle some chocolate chips over the layer of vanilla ice cream.
  7. Add another layer of biscuits dipped in the vanilla milk mixture.
  8. Add a layer of strawberry ice cream.
  9. Pop it in the freezer overnight.
  10. Once done, top it off with a layer of your chocolate ganache.
  11. Put it back in the freezer for about 30 minutes for it to set.
  12. Remove from the freezer and your ice cream cake is ready to serve!

Special Tip

Chill your cake pan in the freezer before you start assembling your ice cream cake, this will keep the ice cream from melting too fast.
