Ingredients

  • Britannia 50-50 Potazos
  • 1 cup corn
  • 1 tbsp red onion
  • 1 tbsp yellow bell pepper
  • 1 tbsp red bell pepper
  • 1 tsp green chillis
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • ½ tbsp coriander
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ⅓ tsp red chilli powder
  • ⅓ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp grated cheese
  • ¼ cup milk

The Topping 

  1. Take a large, microwave-safe bowl to mix all your ingredients. 
  2. Add 1 cup of corn to the bowl.
  3. Dice up 1 tbsp of red onions and add it to the mixing bowl.
  4. Chop 1 tbsp of red and yellow bell peppers into uniform diced cubes.
  5. Finely chop 1 tsp worth of green chillis - you can add more or less depending on your spice tolerance. 
  6. Squeeze a few drops of lemon juice into the mixing bowl for an added zesty kick.
  7. Add finely chopped coriander leaves.
  8. Add ½ tsp of salt — you can customise it based on your taste.
  9. Add ⅓ tsp of red chilli powder and black pepper each — increase or reduce the amount based on your spice tolerance and taste.
  10. Add one heaped tbsp of grated cheese.
  11. Pour ¼ cup of milk into the bowl.
  12. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly to ensure proper consistency and spice distribution.
  13. Place your mix in the microwave for one minute. 
  14. Ensure that the cheese has melted and mixed with all the ingredients and set it aside until assembly.

Assembly:

  1. Take your serving dish and your pack of Britannia Potazos.
  2. Set the Britannia Potazos flat on the dish, they are the base of the corn canapés.
  3. Take a spoonful of the masala corn mixture and place it on each of the Britannia Potazos.
  4. Once all of the Britannia Potazos have toppings on them, your corn canapés are ready!
